I love fruity perfumes it is excellent for any occasion! Let’s face it, it is hard to choose the perfect fragrance, but with fruity fragrances you can never go wrong. Fruity perfumes are excellent for summer or spring, and with summer around the corner I took matters into my own hands and put together a list of my top fruity perfumes to make your choice easier. Let me know which one you chose.

1. DKNY – Be delicious

This with no doubt is my absolute favourite! I am not even a fan of anything to do with apples, but DKNY did something right for making me fall in love with this fragrance! This is an iconic scent from New York launched by Donna Karan in the year 2004. This is a fresh and energetic fragrance. Just like any other fragrance this fragrance consists of 3 notes each of them containing one or two types of fruit along with other sweet fragrances!
Notes of Be Delicious:
• Top notes: Grapefruit, Cucumber, Magnolia
• Middle Notes: Tuberose, Rose, Lily-of-the-valley, Violet, Green Apple
• Base Notes: Woodsy Notes, Amber, Sandalwood
When applying this perfume, you’ll immediately know this is a fruity fragrance, it is long lasting and absolutely worth it!

2. Jean Paul Gaultier – Scandal

This is one of the newer fragrances, but already made its mark in the perfume industry. Scandal was launched in June 2017. This perfume is designed to be elegant and powerful yet modern and playful. This perfume contains some fruity notes combined with flowers, making it sweet and perfect for summer and spring. Scandal was the first fragrance Jean Paul Gaultier launched with Puig company. This fragrance is my go-to when I am feeling festive, sexy and full of laughter!
Notes of Scandal:
• Top notes: Blood Orange, Mandarin Orange
• Middle notes: Honey, Gardenia, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Peach
• Base notes: Patchouli, Beeswax, Caramel, Licorice.

3. Hugo Boss – Boss Orange

This fragrance I personally haven’t tried yet, but my mother is a fan and every time she wears the perfume, she smells incredible! Hugo Boss Orange is one of those fragrances you preferably wear during day time but there is no harm for wearing it on a night out! Again, this is a perfect fragrance for spring and summer. This perfume sets you in the mood for fun, joy and being cheerful. This fragrance was launched back in 2009 by Hugo Boss.
Notes of Boss Orange
• Top notes: Red Apple
• Middle notes: White Flowers, African Orange Flower
• Base notes: Sandalwood, Olive Tree, Vanilla

4. Coco Chanel – Coco Mademoiselle

Wow another favourite! I actually haven’t worn this one in a long time but just last week when I went perfume shopping, I bought it again, and I forgot how in love I was! Coco Mademoiselle by Coco Chanel is floral and fruity orientated, where the main accord is citrus. Coco Mademoiselle was launched in 2001 and the nose behind this magnificent perfume is Jacques Polge. This is the perfect perfume for night and day wear – it’s hard finding such a flexible perfume. This perfume is a spring perfume but again no harm will be done if you decide to wear it in any other season. The notes mainly consist of citrus and flowers and the combination is just incredible.
Notes of Coco Mademoiselle:
• Top notes: Orange, Mandarin Orange, Orange Blossom, Bergamot.
• Middle notes: Mimosa, Jasmine, Turkish Rose, Ylang-Ylang.
• Base notes: Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Opoponax, Vanilla, Vetiver, White Musk

5. Yves Saint Laurent – Mon Paris

This is also a fragrance I frequently wear because of its sweetness and fruitiness! Mon Paris by Yves Saint Laurent was launched in 2016 and was announced as a dazzling fragrance. The fragrance comes in a stunning pink bottle with a black bow. Mon Paris is excellent for fall and spring and can be worn any time of the day.
Notes of Mon Paris:
• Top Notes: Strawberry, Raspberry, Pear, Calabrian Bergamot, Calone, Orange, Tangerine.
• Middle notes: Datura, Peony, Orange Blossom, Jasmine Sambac, Chinese Jasmine.
• Base notes: Indonesian Patchouli, White Musk, Ambroxan, Patchouli, Cedar, Moss, Vanilla.
