What! I did not know that a detox bath is a thing. I guess I was wrong! Let’s start at the beginning. What is a detox bath? According to HealthLine, a detox bath is a healthy way of removing toxins from your body. You can choose your ingredients and then soak your body from 12 minutes to an hour. The most common use for a detox bath is to help cure a cold. Please note that it doesn’t kill the bacteria it only helps with achy muscles or helps your body relax. This may vary from person to person.
We recommend that you phone your doctor to make sure that a detox bath is safe for you. Pregnant women, children and people with impaired kidney function shouldn’t take a detox bath.
How do we get the most out of our detox bath?
Make sure you drink lots of water. This is before and after you take your detox bath
When you get out – be careful – take your time and move slowly
Sometimes a long warm bath can cause light-headedness – drink water during the bath.
Now that all the technical detail is out of the way, let’s get to the fun part – making the recipes!
